  Tremendous service. Fresh, yummy food (Caesar salad, turkey dinner, generous kids' portion, seniors meals all worth going back for). Lovely, clean atmosphere. Why go to a chain when you could go to a proper restaurant in the heart of Woodstock? We celebrated a birthday here and found everything we wanted and more. Will certainly be back when in the city. Thanks!!

  I wish I was able to rate this place lower but I am unable to due to the rating system. This has been the worse experience of my life. The food was alright but I ordered a special that included a dessert. It was not specified in the menu what the dessert was so I asked my waitress if I had a piece of pie coming with my meal and she said yes. I ordered the pie and noticed it on my bill for 4.25. I went to the counter and spoke with another woman who wasn't my waitress (some woman named pat). I asked her if the pie came with the meal and she began to speak very rudely to me. She told me it was my responsibility as a customer to know what came with the meal. I told her that to my understanding the pie did come with the meal and she told me it was jello or rice pudding. She said that it was unfair of me coming into her restaurant that has been there for 40 some odd years and demand free pie. I ate it so she doesn't understand why I'm causing such a huge commotion. She asked how I was paying and I told her that I shouldn't pay for something that was a miscommunication. They offered 2 dollars off the pie which I was still very upset about. In the end I paid for the meal but I will never go back. Not only was I berated in front of all the customers on their mistake but made me feel like I'm some sort of criminal who goes around demanding free pie. I'm also upset at the fact that people who came in before us got their food but I let that go. Worst customer service and horrible conflict resolution.
